Students visit Test Pilots' School
Academy students experienced a day in the life of a test pilot, at Empire Test Pilots' School at MOD Bosbombe Down, thanks to the Jon Eggins Trust.
Students were given the opportunity to sit in an ejector seat, try on night vision goggles and even sit in the cockpit of a jet. The inspiring day marks the beginning of a Blue Skies youth engagement programme which aims to build teamwork. The programme is run by the trust in partnership with personnel from QinetiQ, MOD Boscombe Down, RAF Swanwick and Wessex Archaeology.
In June, students will participate in problem solving and communication tasks.
