‘Making a splash at Academy lake’

The company filled a 30 metre by 10 metre crater in the Academy grounds with nearly half a million litres of water, free of charge;the lake forms part of an outdoor education site. 

The company filled a 30 metre by 10 metre crater in the Academy grounds with nearly half a million litres of water, free of charge;the lake forms part of an outdoor education site.  More than 600 trees, including Rowan, Silver Birch, Oak and Cherry, have been planted on the site.  They were gifted to the Academy by The Woodland Trust.

Current activities include bushcraft, survival and practical leadership tasks with future activities such as pond dipping, studies on grasses, trees, wildlife and eco systems are on the agenda.
