ChatHealth

Text your school nursing team for general confidential advice and support: 07480 635511    Available Monday to Friday between 8.30am-4.30pm, including school holidays but excluding bank holidays.

 

ChildLine

24 hour confidential advice and support. Call free on 0800 1111 you will come through to the switchboard. This is where someone friendly will ask if you want to speak to a counsellor. If you log in for a 1-2-1 counsellor chat online, you might wait a little while before being connected with a counsellor. You can also send an email.

Young Minds Crisis Text Line

Text YM to 85258 for free 24/7 support across the UK if you are experiencing a mental health crisis.

 

Hopeline UK

For children and young people under the age of 35 who are experiencing thoughts of suicide and for anyone concerned that a young person could be thinking about suicide. Phone 0800 068 4141, text 07786 209697, email pat@papyrus-uk.org. Mon-Fri 10am-10pm, weekends 2pm-10pm.

Free, safe and anonymous online support for young people – friendly counsellors, self-help and community support

Beat

Beat provides helplines for adults and young people offering support and information about eating disorders. These helplines are free to call from all phones. Helplines are open 365 days a year from 12pm – 8pm during the week, and 4pm – 8pm on weekends and bank holidays.
