We want to continue to appoint teaching staff who are passionate about their subject and who want to make a difference for the students in our care. We require a Teacher of RS for September 2023 with those qualities. This post is a permanent, full-time or part-time, post. You will be teaching A Level RS along with KS3/KS4. There is the opportunity for the right candidate to also have a whole school responsibility within our higher ability programme, Bourne Scholars.

The post would suit an experienced teacher or an ECT. Statutory induction is provided and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach across the Key Stages, including our highly successful sixth form if appropriate.

The Humanities Department has a wealth of resources and has passionate and outstanding teachers within the team. If you can offer another humanities subject; history, psychology, travel and tourism, or geography, this would be an advantage.

Teaching and learning is high on the agenda at The Bourne Academy and staff are actively encouraged to constantly develop, experiment and reflect on their practice.
