The Bourne Academy, established in 2009, is a state funded secondary school with 1000 students aged 11 to 18 years. Formerly Kings High school, the Academy received a £10 million investment in 2012 which transformed the site into a state of the art 21st century secondary school.
The Academy is committed to creating aspirational students who are well-prepared for their futures and who strive to achieve their full potential.
Ofsted 2019: The Bourne Academy is a welcoming and inclusive school. Pupils and staff are proud to be members of the school community. The views of many pupils are reflected in the comment made by one, who said, ‘The school helps me to be the best version of myself.’
