Bourne Academy Delighted with 2025 GCSE and Vocational Results ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The Bourne Academy, an all ability state-funded secondary Academy established by its sponsor Canford School in 2010, is delighted to announce another excellent set of examination results, both in terms of attainment grades and levels of progress achieved.

Mark Avoth, Principal, said “I am delighted to say that these results are the highest in the Academy’s history for all National key performance indicators in English & Mathematics.  Whilst progress scores are not being reported this year, it is clear that this cohort have performed exceptionally well, and these results are testament to the hard work and dedication of our students and staff. Well done everyone!’

  • Mya John-Charles who achieved 2 grade 9’s, 6 grade 8’s, 1 grade 7 and a grade 6
  • Weronika Ulicka who achieved 2 grade 9’s, 1 Distinction* grade, 2 grade 8’s and a grade 7’s
  • Emily Bartlett Wilson who achieved 2 grade 9’s, 1 grade 8, 2 grade 7’s and 2 grade 6’s
  • Viktoria Vosela who achieved 2 grade 9’s, 3 grade 7’s and 3 grade 6’s
  • Veda Maqsudi who achieved 1 grade 9, 5 grade 8’s, 1 Distinction and 3 grade 7’s
  • Rhys Horwood who achieved 1 grade 9, 3 grade 8’s, 2 grade 7’s and 2 grade 6’s
