Bourne Shines Brightly at N E O N Awards
The Bourne Academy was invited to attend an awards ceremony for the National Education Opportunities Network (NEON) at The Palace of Westminster, London
Mrs Vicky Woodings and Mrs Kelly Franklin attended the ceremony to celebrate the success in widening access to Higher Education (HE) and in particular to recognise the students who have progressed to HE.
We are very proud to announce that the Academy was one of three who were nominated, and won the 'Outstanding Access School Award'. The award was presented by Gordon Marsden MP, Shadow Minister of Higher Education, Further Education & Skills.
