Salary MPS/UPS £32,916 - £51,048
We want to continue to appoint teaching staff who are passionate about their subject and who want to make a difference for the students in our care. With that in mind we want to appoint a talented, dynamic and innovative teacher for the post of Teacher of Media, required from Easter 2026 or Sept 2026. The department is well supported, in terms of resources, and opportunities for staff to develop their teaching and further their careers. Media is taught at all Key Stages and is a popular subject at A level. As a classroom teacher, you will be supported by an experienced Head of Department. Full time hours available although part time will be considered (min 0.8). The ability to teach English would be preferable or another subject.
Teaching and learning is high on the agenda at The Bourne Academy and staff are actively encouraged to constantly develop, experiment and reflect on their practice. Access to high quality in-house CPD as well as the opportunity to gain a bursary towards further studies is available. Outstanding ECT support is available for those new to the teaching profession.
