The Bourne Academy currently outsources all their catering needs to a private caterer, Innovate. Everything is freshly cooked on a daily basis and they offer a broad ranging menu which is changed weekly.
We are delighted to be able to provide a range of seasonal menus all of which have been fully analysed to meet the nutritional guidelines but also satisfy even our hungriest customers. Every day we serve jacket potatoes with several different fillings, pasta with various toppings and pizza. We also offer our students a 'Meal Deal' which changes every day, for example:
- Traditional Beef Lasagne or Seasonal Vegetable Korma
- Garlic Bread or Rice
- Mixed Leaf & Tomato, Cucumber Salad, Apple Coleslaw
- Fresh Raspberry Jelly
- Orange Juice Drink
- All for £2.30
The meals are complemented each day with a huge variety of tasty ‘grab and go’ foods with lots more homemade goodies available every day.

Innovate and The Bourne Academy work in partnership to understand the importance of a good wholesome start to the day, so every morning the students can join us for a complimentary breakfast (free of charge) comprising of toast, jams, marmite, marmalade and fruit juice. What a wonderful opportunity to meet with friends and to talk with teachers and mentors.
We run a fully cashless catering system and parents are able to top up their children's accounts securely online. Alternatively students can top up their account with cash in the reval machine located in the HUB. For further information, please read the following:

We have historically provided toast, orange juice and hot chocolate to our students on arrival into the Academy each day. From March 2019 drinks will remain the same, but we will be swapping the ordinary toast for a bagel. This will not only allow a £9000 saving to the Academy over a year, but the bagel is a much healthier option compared to the original toast alternative.
