The Performing Arts play a vital part in our school community and developing the character of our students. Students have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of performances as part of their curriculum and extracurricular ACE programme.
There is a thriving Performing Arts scene at the Academy and we are looking to recruit a Subject Leader of Dance and Drama (Dance Specialist) to lead on the development of the subjects and take us on to an exciting new phase of development of the Arts in the Academy.
You will work as part of a committed and dedicated team who are ambitious for all student to develop a love of dance, drama and the arts.
You will work innovatively with colleagues and partners to relentlessly pursue excellence in the arts and will be the driving force behind the future development of the subjects in the school.
We offer an opportunity to teach from Year 7 right through to Year 13.

We want all our students to love maths and some just need a little extra support. The post would suit an experienced mathematics teacher or an NQT or someone with a degree in maths . The successful candidate will support our yr 11 students in the run up to their GCSE examinations.
Full time and part time flexible hours available to suit and up to 37 hours per week available.

The Bourne Academy is currently recruiting Exam Invigilators. We are looking for reliable and organised people to join our friendly team of invigilators. Invigilators are required in November for our pre-exams and then from March to July for the main public examinations. We will need the applicant to be available for the majority of the season in order to have continuity for our students during this crucial year for them. You must be able to follow set processes and procedures, be patience, calm and vigilant and you must like working with children.
